I thought perhaps some of you would like to hear what he REALLY said today.

Is anyone else a bit concerned because there has not been one peep about Marta? That would be a real bummer. It sounded like when he got out of rehab he went to NY, not Florida or am I jumping to conclusions?

I didn't hear all 180 minutes of the show so if he did talk about her please, please tell me/us.

Thanks Pete,

The media goons are already spinning it out of control.

I had to call into my evening talk radio station and set the host straight, after he mis-quoted Rush 3 different times.

Didn't get to hear the show today, but I am glad you posted this--was wondering what was said and didn't have time to scan through the threads covering today's show.

He is still a class act.

Here is to Rush getting back on the air. I wish him well. He may get fat again real soon though and that wouldn't be a bad thing. I am simply amazed of what he was able to accomplish while under such an addiction. Back pain is often a reason for such pill addictions. Limbaugh is hardly the only person to succumb to addiction to pain killers after suffering such pain.

Thanks for the post. Due to work, I didn't have the opportunity to listen to Rush today and really wanted to know what he said.

"What you know - what you think you know - you don't know. "

I think Clinton said the same thing one time. Wish I had Lexis/Nexis and could do a search.

Did you hear the part when he read we aren't adults until we're 26???

Well, he said:

"Five weeks in rehab aren't going to make an idiot out of me!"

KickAss. Pure Kickass!

And then he said:

"You liberals, the party's over, I'm back!!"

The new Rush was like he was 10 years ago! LOL!

You can boil it down to one real simple essence: I can't be responsible for anybody's happiness but my own, and if I allow somebody else the power to determine my happiness, then...well...that's something I don't want to do. I can't do any longer. I put myself first. Doesn't mean be rudely selfish. It just means I can't depend on other people to make me happy. I have to do that myself. I'm the only one who has control over that. And I have to admit that I am powerless over this addiction that I have. I used to think I could beat it with force of will. I used to think that I would be different, but I'm not.

I'm just like anybody else who has an addiction. I'm powerless over it, and I have to continue to recognize that and make sure that the things that I've learned continue to be practiced. It's a challenge, but it's exciting. The things that I have discovered about myself and anybody who went through what I've went through would discover about themselves is just sort of like being reborn here at age 50. Have you ever wished that you could take what you know at whatever age you are, 50, 45, 30, and go back to being a teenager? Well, that's what I guess is a good way to tell you what's happened to me, in the sense that the things I've learned - I can now not relive things, but it's going to give new meaning to the future.

Boy, I remember talking like this when I was in the program. He doesnt realize it, but he DID get a dose of liberalism!! 12 step ideology is a LIBERAL ideology, it will take time for him to see it!

I got out of the 12 step cults when I became a Christian. Rush needs Jesus Christ, not some program!
