I never even heard about the VP coming to Syracuse until the night before. But I would have changed my plans and driven the 30 miles to lend my support if I'd known earlier.
A WSYR news caster said "hundreds of anti Bush/Chaney protesters were demonstrating outside the hotel, with two anti, anti protesters." Instead of saying SUPPORTERS!
Later in the day it was "About two hundred protesters were there" with no mention of any supporters at all. It's one of the reasons I don't listen to local news.
This is the first time I've heard of the "CNY Sons of Liberty" Is it a large group?

Sign her up! Lol. Its all good. Can't wait till we are numerous enough that we will not be overlooked. Check out the FRN Jon. No chapter in CNY. Buffalo is closest one. If we get this thing organized in time, maybe we can be of help when Mr. Bush decides to make NY competitive in '04.

We're hoping so...right now it's a rag tag group of patriots...
I'm trying to work with the Republican Party and the Young Republicans to get chapters going at SU and other local schools. We need to hit the colleges...Lots of support there.

Actually, the count was 202 for Cheney, 200 against. Let's not forget those ponying up $1000 each...
