"Because I can't grasp the idea that God has a sex"
Ah, so it's the whole genitalia thing that's throwing you.
God calls Himself Father and He. I don't see a reason that I, a mere human, would dispute Him.

It's not the genitalia, it's that I don't believe God has a body, besides, I don't know what God calls Him/Her/Itself. I believe God is above all that. I too am a mere human, who has never heard God describe Him/Her/Itself.

One case in England had a child with one testicle and one ovary, so that is possible as well. Sort gives a whole new meaning to "go xxxx yourself."

"It's not the genitalia, it's that I don't believe God has a body"Who said anything about God having a body? Not me.
"I don't know what God calls Him/Her/Itself."
Ah, I see. So you sorta, kinda, maybe believe in God, but you don't believe in any of the 'holy scriptures' of any of the religions? Got it.

Isn't a body required to be a he or her? I don't sort of believe in God, I do...but you are correct in that I do not believe in any of the scriptures of religions.

Yes, if you are thinking of genitalia. But 'maleness' and 'femaleness' are often thought of as something other than genitalia.
God the Father is provider, protector, etc. The best way to explain it is to say it's a 'characteristics' thing.

You're the one that originally brought up the genitalia. Mothers are providers and protectors too., why not just say God, and leave all gender out of it?

In Greek mythology, the Chimera was an awesome fire-breathing monster Uh, the article did say this was a woman?
To: MineralMan
does the person have two souls or just one? Now there's a question that I would like to see the prolifers deal with.
Could this be murder in the womb?
To: NYer
This is more than bizarre. The other explanation is that the babies were switched at the hospital.

Kinda puts that song, "I'm My Own Grandpaw" into perspective.

How about you answer this first.
If she is murdered, will the killer stand trial for a single, or double homicide?
