"Of all the attacks we can make on this President, the most damaging is that he has no vision for a future that will make America safer and stronger and smarter and richer and fairer."

So says the former co-POTUS who was large and in charge when her hubby was turning down offers of bin laden's extradition, head on a platter, etc.

Huck Fillary. Just about the only good thing I can say about her is that she got the face she deserves.

"Sen. John Kerry was toughest of all, accusing him of "playing dress-up on an aircraft carrier"

Kerry himself is all dressed up with no where to go.

Clinton praised the field as "the most accomplished since 1960"

Proof that Hillary considers herself a candidate? Of course, no one is allowed to be greater than JFK, so 1960 is the required limit here. But, how can this field of candidates be better than Bill in 1992 and 1996? Only one possible explanation: Hillary is part of the field, and she is better than Bill.

"Clinton launched a blistering attack on President Bush's policies - from the lack of funding for education to the debt being laid on future generations..."

Lib/dems are incapable of seeing cause and effect.

"Most Americans remember the good things that happened in the 1990s."

ROFLMAO Oh, there are so many "good things" that happened in the 1990's. Where to start?? Chineese campaign money; selling our military secrets; Monica; Gennifer; Paula; renting out the Lincoln bedroom; the comdom Christmas tree; etc., etc.

But the saddest thing of all is to see some here on FR secretly and openly hoping for one of these to be prez. Some would accept Satan himself if it meant they could "prove their point." They'll never wake up to the fact that they are pointless.....and irrelevant.

It is ironic that the Democrat candidates could not sell out the hall and had to call on Hillary to do it. This is a party without leaders, and one that is about to pawn its soul for a second time to yet another Clinton.

The scarier part is that half of voters in the country would vote for another Clinton. Yes, I'm saying the electorate is just that stupid. Evidence of such, you ask? 1992 and 1996.

"Never forget: Pundits and polls don't pick Presidents," she said. "People pick Presidents."
Unless of course the Democratic Party goes nuclear with its lawyers again; then Supreme Court justices "pick presidents."

"People pick Presidents."

Let's try the Constitutional lesson again Frau Hillary:

Amendment XII
The electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President,

Clinton launched a blistering attack on President Bush....

And this what pisses me off!!!! They 'rag' us and our Pres. and we just sit and twiddle our thumbs. When are the Republicans going to stand up and give them a doze of their own medicine? Hillary has been doing this since she was the first lady. Imagine the outrage if Laura Bush criticized a demo?

I sporadically checked in to C-Span for the Iowa thing last night. Hard to stomach. What gets me is the people there act like the people that are talking are not lying. The economic slowdown started in March of 2000, Bush has brought the economy back from where Clinton let it decline. The budget "surplus" was all on paper, it was merely a projection by the "trustworthy" Clinton Administration. Numbers are real today. And 9-11 happened only after Bush was in 9 months, it was able to happen becuase of the previous 8 years of inaction and politicizing of the intelligence agancies by Clinton. Iowa Senater Tom Harkin, spoke, me HAS TO know all this is true yet he stood there and went on and on about what a great president Clinton was. Ann Coulter is right, TREASON! Since the future of America is at stake, so is all mankind.

Over $700 billion federal dollars go to education (the teacher's unions). How can they say education is underfunded! I ask high school kids who we won our independence from, half the time they don't know, even though they speak English. You can only get so much for $700 billion, I guess. It's under funded!

I watched the opening speech by Her Highness...........Shrill, Shrill, Shrill.

Her voice was grateing and her final call-to-arms was hysterical and over the top (ie. red meat for the hungry partisans that were present).

When I checked back in they were finished with the speeches by The Dwarves. Was it me, or did I notice that they were showing a large number of photos of Hill and Bill on the large TV screen over the stage, rather than The Dwarves? This was supposed to be a DNC-sponsored 'send-up' of The Dwarves, NOT Hill & Bill, after all.
