The 2nd Law of thermodynamics causes a degradation of the genetic programming that was originally perfect. The fall of man brought corruption to our universe.

Various degradations and various reproductive unions have created differing instances of skin color, bone structure, hair color... We are devolving in consistency with the erosion of the universe around us. If not for God's perfect design "Very Good", life would promptly spin into oblivion. That is overlooking the power he continually exhibits by sustaining us moment by moment.

God has chosen to allow the genetic material from reproduction to create the genetic union in the offspring, altering the looks of each child from their parents.

We die when He appoints the time for us to die.

Genesis chapter 9 - Not one word in this chapter refers to "race" in any shape, fashion, or form, it is some wild silly "THEORY" to make any of this chapter tell the story of when the different races began.

A free-will choice of Adam unleashed the corruption on the universe. God chose to create Adam knowing he would bring down the mess we see around us. God's grace is superior to that corruption and He has provided a way of escape. Jesus Christ.

These are very Christian Orthodox positions, I am surprised you are not familiar with them.

Gen 6:11-12
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

We must shed these corrupt bodies to enter into our inheritance. And this corrupt universe will be replaced with a new heaven and a new earth and a new Jerusalem.

Rev 21:1-2
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 21:10
10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Some say the corruption was just the people, but as we can see in Revelation God feels the need to create a new Heaven, a new Earth and a new Jerusalem. An eternity with God without a trace of corruption. Praise God for His perfect plan.

Gee I don't know, MYSTERY, to me means most don't have a clue.

Now back to the "SABBATH = REST". How can any one in this so called "modern era" claim that they know exactly which one of the days of our modern week fall exactly on that first "SABBATH" of the 7th DAY of CREATION. Which is what the Commandment to REMEMBER speaks to.

Now those good old boys of the synagogue, really held to their sabbath(s), and in Matthew 12 tried to talk "LAW" with Christ Himself regarding what what lawful to do on the Sabbath.

Now thinking you were a well read person and had read this went to Colossians where ..... and sabbaths are a "SHADOW of THINGS to COME.
