Some Arnoldnauts are already showing signs of backtracking and RE:#20 is a good example of uncertainty and apprehension. Having said that, Arnold still deserves the benefit of the doubt in the short term. Let's see if he takes advantage of this unqiue opportunity the people of California have intrusted him with. The campaign is long over, its time to govern. The big question is, will GovSchwarzenegger govern as a liberal or revert to a more moderate policy agenda.

My expectations are low so it won't take much to impress me. However, given his recent appointments, things aren't looking good.

Having said that, Arnold still deserves the benefit of the doubt in the short term.Yes, I am paying particular attention to the Car Tax, (which inspired the original revolt), yet in the face of so much deluded expectations from the camp's waffling, I haven't heard the repeal being Championed by his supporters. They won, why isn't the curing of that injustice being bragged about, unless they suspect...
I haven't heard any outrage about the trial balloon floated regarding it not happening because of the wildfire cost.
I'll give him 100 days to repeal the Car Tax. If he fails to get that completed-past tense- after 100 days, I will gladly lead the charge to bring him down.
