Our stock market guy at my office just told me that the buzz on Wall Street is that the National Guard has just been ordered to Times Square and Penn Station.
This rumor accounts for the current dip in the Dow, etc.

That's the way I heard it. Sounded odd to me.
Last year I was near Grand Central when the 'duct tape' crisis was going on. It was overwhelmed by NYPD forces in riot gear.
The guys in the markets are very connected to each other (more than freepers) there may be something to it.

The nex ten days maybe a little tense I hear we need to keep a heads up the next 2 weeks...anyone know anything?? Um, the National Guard isn't a force for spur of the monment emergency deployment.
Maybe the "rumor" was started by someone who shorted a lot of stock yesterday...
