I don't care if the 'Rats DO block this clown's nomination. Far as I'm concerned, he can rot in Hell.

Wouldn't it be just a HOOT if President BUSH appointed, over the upcoming Congressional Recess, Judge MOORE to a Federal Appeals Court?
And, along with the current Nominees, appointed "Nute" GINGRICH and Judge BORKE to the Federal Bench as well, just for fun?
Why not?; The libs, Dems, ACLU, ABA and everyone else involved in the systematic atheization of America utterly detest Pres. BUSH and Judge MOORE about equally already, so who's to "offend" other than our idealogical enemies, such a Hellary, Dashhole, Teddy the swimmer, and the "Nine Mondales" (as Drudge calls 'em)?
I kind of doubt that the "kinder, gentler, new-tone" RINO party elite would ever allow that sort of bravado to surface (unfortunately) but I don't think that I'm the only member of what used to be referred to as "The Conservative Base" who would just love to see that rammed up the Sociocrats tailpipe hard and cross-threaded in.
President BUSH tried to set this "New Tone" of bipartisan cooperation and civility in Washington, but has been rewarded with nothing other than partisan contempt, emnity, slander and obstruction from the Dems.
So if they want to re-define "new tone", then why not accept it accordingly - only not on the one-way track that they seem to expect it to run.
Let's let 'em have a good dose of their own bilge right back, in full measure, shaken down, and packed in tight.
With interest.
I predect that if it were, the reaction on the left - including the syncophantic media, would be no less that apoplectic!
But honestly, now; do they deserve any less?
Dr. Frist; Nice start with the Senate "discussion" thing; you can let go of the other ankle any time now.
Mr. Graham; do you really have to be so bloomin' ashamed of even being accused of being a little "Conservative"?
Whose Party are you supposed to be "leading", anyhow?
Might we actually have a CHOICE on Election day, 2004?
Is that too much to ask?
"Conservatism"; It's an ideaology, not a flamin' disease, already!
Not only that, it actually WORKED for President Ronaldus Magnus Regan, and seems to have worked in our current POTUS favor - in spite of the "conventional political wisdom" that any position to the right of "center" (which the Libs continue to define, as near as I can tell) is tantimount to politicl suicide.
So let's try again, just for fun...
Can't we?

It would be wonderful and a brilliant move and would seal his base Christian conservative vote in the 2004 election; I hope he would appoint Justice Roy Moore to the supreme court, after that and I would have so much more respect and admiration for him in this evil time of athiest liberalism and hostility towards bible believing Christians.

It would, indeed, be a marvelous coup. The people he'd utterly enrage are not voting for him anyway, and a few of his perhaps former "base" might be sufficiently encouraged by this show of courage and initiative to preserve our Constitutional system that we might actually bother to show up at the polls next year.
As to the "RINOs", who are they gonna vote for; Democrats?
I don't think so.
Hey Chairman GRAHAM; does that term seem a little familiar to ya?
wgeorge2001; Romans 8:28 and Interesting times indeed!
About the coming together of the "EU"; what is your take on that?
Reconstituted Roman Empire?
"Ten Horns"?
Is Mr. 666 among us already?
Pretrib/Midtrib/ or posttrib Rapture?
Do you occasionally feel a little guilty, as I do, having read the Book and knowing how this all is going to wash out in the end?

Judge MOORE to a Federal Appeals Court? After he gets disbarred, that might present a pretty significant obstacle to overcome.

In arguing the case for Pryor's nomination, the Republicans were saying that, regardless of his "deeply held beliefs", he would follow the law. Isn't that exactly what Pryor did?

Sure. That's a great idea. Appoint a guy who has no respect for the judiciary and who believes that Federal judges basically have no power to do anything to be a Federal judge.
That makes about as much sense as all the homoerotic subtext in your post.

How funny...go Pryor!
Note to Christian Conservatives: you can't be the Chief Justice of a State Supreme Court and openly refuse to abide by a court order. Kinda hard to make rulings yourself when you refuse to follow ones that you don't like.

Gaw-lee!; I've been called all sorts of things over the years, but I do believe that's a first for "Homoerotic"!
May we safely assume, before digging out the Webster's New World Dictionary, that it was intended as an insult?
It shore is a dilly! }8^{P~
