I'm new here, but for God's sake, let the poor girl go. There is a better place on the other side.

Maybe you should go there then. Maybe you could stand in for Terri.

Do you think she should be "let go" if she doesn't WANT to be "let go"?

What makes you think Terri wants to go? She wants to live enough that she fought to stay alive without food and water for 6 DAYS!
Maybe you wouldn't appreciate that as an expression of "will to live" until you've been there too.

Describe, if you will, the "better place on the other side" that awaits Terri.

Welcome MTK. Please check out the links here and do some reading first and then see if you feel the same, ok?

I'm new here, but for God's sake, let the poor girl go. There is a better place on the other side. Most of us here would like for MICHAEL SCHIAVO TO LET TERRI GO. Unfortunately, Michael refuses to do so. There is some conjecture here that things would be very bad for him and some powerful people in Florida if he lost guardianship and a new guardian audited her records; things would get worse still if she ever did recover.
As someone noted elsewhere, people are trying to starve/dehydrate Terri not because she's dying, but because she isn't. Michael's tired of being Terri's guardian, but can't afford to let anyone else take over the role, and thus he wants to kill Terri to ensure nobody else can take care of her.

I'm new here, but for God's sake, let the poor girl go..." Then why not let you go too? After all, "there's a 'better place' on the other side.
Haven't you been having headaches lately? How about insomnia, constipation, or depression? You'd be better off "on the other side."
