Columnist Robert Novak wrote in April that Dodd and particularly O'Connell hold a grudge against Assistant Secretary of State Otto Reich, a conservative and anticommunist. This antagonism to Reich in particular, and conservatives generally, fuels Dodd's aggressive stance on U.S. policy in Latin America.

Dodd likes Communist child molestors like Daniel Ortega--when he's not making waitress sandwiches with Ted Chappaquiddick.

Chavez needs killing.

There are pockets of Islamic influence all around South America, backed by very large populations of Middle easterners. For example, the Argentine military now has a officer corps with a heavy Syrian influence. The corner between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay has become a Muslim no-man's land of lawless smuggling, and is clearly a major terrorist support base

There are also heavy concentrations of Middle Easterners in the west-coasst nations of South America, particulary Colombia.

It is certainly not beyond the realm of possibility that these people are in touch with each other and their homelands, especially Syria. This cannot have gone unnoticed by our intelligence agencies, or could it? After all, no one seems to care that the CHICOM, working hand-in-glove with Castro and Chavez, are in an excellent position to control access to the Caribbean.
