For a report on the 30 hour debate about judicial nominations led by Senate Republicans, Fox News included comments Senator Ted Kennedy made today in which he vowed that Republicans will never be allowed to use the courts as their own private sandbox.
The caption across the bottom of the television screen while Teddy was speaking?
"BLAH, BLAH, BLAH."

With Ted Kennedy, that was probably an actual quote.

Gee! Was Teddy drinking again? Everybody keep an eye on your daughters. Don't let them ride in a car with Teddy.

I guess we should send her a tape of that Clinton rally in Massachusetts several years ago, and ask her to translate for us.

sounds like she was watching closed captioning

It couldn't have been a more accurate, fair or balanced banner for any word out of his mouth! It was great!

Fair and balanced would have called for a debate on Ted Kennedy's role in Chapaquidic, and make him come clean once and for all about his relationship with Mary Jo.
Ted Kennedy deserves nothing but scorn, he is a stain on this country and any amount criticism leveled at that fat drunk is well deserved

If this is true, then FOX's ratings may go up more.
Not that being disrespectful to a Senator should be an attitude we want the media to cultivate. It's more like a tit for tat.

Seems disengenuous of Mzzzzzzzzzzzz. Cochran not mentioning the time this occured, which show, was it meant to be satire, etc. Carries as much weight as hearing something from the friend of a friend....
All she did was throw out bait for the highly suggestive and easily agitated DU'ers.

Did this really happen, or was this a viewer's humorous interpetation? If Fox News actually printed that, can you give a time and date?

Did the news banner also say "90% of Democrats are gay"? Was Homer Simpson anywhere on the screen at the time?

Yes, it really happened. Between 4 - 6 on Fox News on Tuesday. Neil Cavuto's show, I believe. It happened so fast, there was not much time to focus on who was anchoring, etc.... There was only enough time to laugh out loud, and then it was gone.

"Ted Kennedy deserves nothing but scorn, he is a stain on this country and any amount criticism leveled at that fat drunk is well deserved"
I watched GHWB give his George Bush Library award to Ted Kennedy on CSPAN the other day, and was disgusted to my core...
He literally was fawning all over the guy, praising and praising him, and at the very end he said "Be nice to my kid, will ya'?"
Unbelievable...Kennedy is a pig, and the ex-president praise him for his courage, principles and commitment to his beliefs.

The caption across the bottom of the television screen while Teddy was speaking? "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH."LAnd the problem is?

Did this really happen, or was this a viewer's humorous interpetation? It was exactly as described, Kennedy speaking with a banner across the bottom of the screen with "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH".
I couldn't believe my eyes.
