CM55, are you out of your mind?

Don't you remember when he dove for cover during the Battle of Iraq and it turned out later the shells fell miles away?

Don't you remember when he was giving away Allied troop positions with a map drawn in the sand?

Please!

WHOREaldo is the worst. He's a blight on journalism of any kind. He is THE reason Newton Minow called TV a vast wasteland.

He has changed quite a bit. Sure he is still the flamboyant guy he used to be. But he has changed A LOT.

But he has changed A LOT.

Not enough. Never enough.

Let me know when his hairline is shaved and he has a horseshoe-shaped scar...that MIGHT be enough change for the Whorealdo.

I stopped watching Fox, except for the evening news, months ago. After Shepherd Smith commented last night that "Rush had copped to a drug charge" I stopped watching FNC completely.

They obviously aspire to be the televised version of National Enquirer and can no longer be taken seriously as a news outlet.

We'll get our news from the Internet -- at least here we can choose what to read -- and the latest sex scandal(s) aren't on the priority list.

Every so often Cavuto e-mails a personal reply back. I do believe it is him that does it too. He is a Superb Guy.

Cavuto's the best! I've loved him since his CNBC days. I really have to make more of an effort to catch his show weekdays. I usually DO see his 1/2 hour show "Cavuto on Business", which runs at 10:30 ET Saturday mornings.

I sent e-mails to ALL of your links above. Thanks again!

but we stopped watching TV (aside from sports, CSI, Noggin and DVDs). And the stress level has dropped tremendously.

I have my own choices for the asides, but , BINGO.

P.S. If it helps, I feel the same way, even though I avoid as much TV as possible. Talking to people at work, whom I consider intelligent, and hearing them echo the mantras that we have already discussed and proven to be misdirection and lies, give one the largest sense of frustration.

Anyone not know the technical definition of frustration?

Lou Dobbs makes everyone at FOX look like bloomin' idjits.

Lou has a meaningful program every day, chock full of intelligent discussion on very important topics. Lou's got 'em all beat.

I agree about Lou Dobbs. If you haven't already, check out "Kudlow & Cramer" at 8pm ET on CNBC. Larry Kudlow is brilliant (and a conservative!) Cramer is also brilliant, and is hysterically funny to watch and listen to, with his high-pitched voice. LOL

Here I see "Vote No On Right to Work" stickers still on all the time. That election was two years ago and The Unions lost that one.

I'm seeing lots of "Impeach Bush" and Dean bumper stickers up here in the Connecticut/Massachusetts/Rhode Island area. :-(

Maybe you should try taping them, like I do. That leaves me free to watch "Threat Matrix", or whatever, with my husband (who is definitely not a news junkie like me.

I tape O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, and Scarborough Country. The next morning I have the well-used option to fast forward through all the "Laci/Kobe" parts, as well as the commercials.

Everything else, I get from FReepers.

WOW! I'm impressed. Very well written and all-inclusive of the topics that warrant the most attention.

I hate Rita Cosbys voice too. How do people get to be TV comentators with horrible speaking voices? I said this about David Bloom (God rest his soul) the other day. Nasal voice like he had severe sinus trouble all the time.

chopping up a body and throwing it into the river ... It's obvious he has no mental capability.

Neither does the jury and they're not in jail either.

I've gotten to the point where the instant I hear "Scott/Laci/Kobe" on some talking head show, I change the channel at once.

I'm with you.
