I heard that, too--no Amber! Well, we always knew it was quite possible she wouldn't be called for the prelim...
Good to see you back. Expect questions on "Prop. 115", lol.
To: clouda
You're right, they should be charged! What they did was unconscionable. Talk about low, this takes the cake.
To: Spunky
Correct! And btw, Spunky, the info in that tip was interesting. What Brocchini did was to take a REAL tip and read it verbatim to the Petersons' Laci tipline. The substance of the tip was: Some woman (Marietta Somebody) said she had a co-worker who was driving on a westbound highway, and this co-worker (he's identified, can't recall his name) saw a vehicle that looked like Scott's, pulling a boat, about 3:00 a.m. the morning of Dec. 24th, and in the boat, there was a "bundle" wrapped in something blue. The something blue was described as being like a blanket, like an Indian-style blanket.
Long ago we heard something about a man seeing Scott on the road in the wee hours--this might be that very tip.

At this point, I'm begining to believe the Peterson Srs along with Scott are truly amoral---cannot see the difference between right and wrong: in otherwords, all is fair, at all cost.
I say this with no animosity, and not to say that they are "evil". I absolutly believe they cannot understand why anyone can think any differently from the way they do.

Yes--can you believe he told this Shawn Sibley that he'd "lost" his wife, but cried and begged her not to tell Amber, b/c he wanted to be the one to "break it to Amber"? And then on or about the 9th, Shawn finds out that Scott had told Amber "everything". (But actually he'd told her the false story of how he "lost his wife".) Then on Dec. 11th, Scott and Amber attend a party for Shawn's fiance.

Now we really need transcripts from today's session!

Exactly. If Amber testified now, then the entire time he questioned her at trial, Geragos would be holding the transcript of her prelim testimony in his hand, pointing out every little inconsistency. B/C it's impossible for even an HONEST person to tell a complicated story the same exact way twice.

After all our debating about it, Sandy, looks like you were right--he did get an official expense account from Tradecorp.
At least we can take comfort in the fact that the cops thought about the expense account, just as we wondered about it.

Lopez Lake bump

returning to the scene of a successful crime bump?
To: Devil_Anse
Yeah, and I'm trying to figure out why the FBI was doing this, and who they were investigating--Tradecorp. or Scott or both. We gotta have the transcripts! Heard on Greta tonight that Tradecorp. said there was nothing wrong with Scott's expense reports. Did that come out in court today? Must have.
To: maggiefluffs
Don't you just love the way Geragos is suggesting that Scott was only going back to the marina to try and find and interview two marina workers who were supposedly there when he was there on the 24th?
And practically in the next breath, Geragos or McAllister is pointing out how THEIR investigator, Gary Ermoian, beat the cops to all sorts of witnesses, including in Berkeley.
Yeah, sure, they're going to pay all this money to hire Ermoian, but then they're going to send their vulnerable client out there by himself, to do the investigative work? Yeah, right.
If you were going to interview witnesses, you would want the person who interviewed them to be someone you could definitely call to the witness stand. B/C then that interviewer could tell about what the witnesses said, so as to get the witnesses' previous statements into evidence. You would not want to make the DEFENDANT your interviewer, b/c you would not necessarily want to call him to the witness stand.

Boy does this Hart guy sound like a sleazeball. BUT little did she know that she'd later have one who was even sleazier!
Thanks for the article. I had heard People had something, and was curious to see it!
I do love the way the "mainstream" media keeps bringing out stuff the tabloids had months ago, and acting like it is a brand-new bombshell, lol. Once again, the tabloids were proved right!
To: Canadian Outrage
Hi CO!! Wouldn't you know, the day all this new stuff is coming out, and we finally get some more info, I actually had to do some real work, lol.
But I'm catching up now! Just slogged through today's testimony. And I do mean "slogged".
To: BunnySlippers
Yes, I heard this was straight from today's testimony! It's official now. The body was found with tan (what Amy called cream-colored) pants.
Scott's black pants-white shirt was a fabrication.
To: Sandylapper
I heard the thing, about the clothes that were on the body when found, came out in testimony today, and that Sharon had to leave the room b/c the description of the body got too graphic.

I got the impression that Dennis Rocha never liked him.
