To Lt. Col. West: How tragic if your career has ended. You are the sort of brave and quick-thinking leader a mother can trust her children to and feel they will be protected, insofar as possible. It's the PC and the politics that have emboldened these terrorists you've been fighting, and it's the PC and the politics that are trying to tarnish your good name and your career. The terrorists won't succeed because of men such as you. The politicians won't succeed in ruining you, for all of us out in the ether know your story and offer you our deepest respect and gratitude.
