Two phrases come to mind: "Waste of time" and "too little, too late." At the very least do you think ANYONE outside the Beltway even knows about this silly stunt??

Whoop-de-do!

A waste of time. It's time for the Pubbies to grow a set and a) change the senate rules or b) GW makes these appointments when the senate recesses.

The average sheep could care less about this trivial stunt, and the average politically-aware citizen knows this will do absolutely no good.
