Statistics say that 90-92% of them vote alike. So there's no question about voting patterns.
I'm white, but I have asked Black friends about their opinions on many issues. They all defend the Dem party line. One told me that they would be ostracized from the community if they disagreed.
I think that probably some disagree, but few dare to be vocal about it. The ballot box is secret, so that "some" is probably not very many.

I'm aware of statistics, but these aren't statistics, these are people I know. And I didn't ask them, they told me quite vocally.

I'm not quite sure I trust those statistics anyway.I'm sure you're right that a large percentage of Black Americans do vote Democrat, but I don't trust alot of what I read as far as statistics go, and thankfully, things are changing.

As I said, maybe it has alot more to do with income, and careers. The higher the income and education, the more likely we are to want to hang on to our money, and not be led around by the promise of gov't handouts.

Being highly educated myself, I have to leave this discussion right now and watch 'Friends'! ;)
