If any more proof was needed to convince people that our government is becoming too large and unwieldy to function in a competent manner, this should settle the argument.

When we were deployed we weren't put on Active duty status-we were put on Active Duty for Training status, which meant that until paychecks started for this fiscal year our LESs did not include credit for any days of leave (we were told it is being "tracked" and so far no one has been cheated of any leave that I know of). Still, I wonder if we will lose out down the road on retirement, or some other benefits that I haven't thought of yet. I still don't understand why they didn't put us on Active Duty status from the start.

SNAFU.
Keeps them cut-off, lonely and furious.
And mean beyond belief.
