Washed up type cast Star Trek bit player who mostly makes the rounds at Star Trek conventions and washed up POTUS. Perfect fit.

This can't be right. The Hikaru Sulu I know would never fall in with such trash.

It must be the other Mr. Sulu from the Mirror Universe.

Maybe they could get the woman from the Whitewater trial to donate her Star Trek uniform to the museum too.

When I saw Mr. Takei at a film festival a decade ago in Houston he mentioned his internment and said that he didn't have bad memories of it.

Surprisingly, their copy of Chicken Little has "Democrat Playbook" written across the cover.

I actually read this book, I saw it in a dollar store and thought what the heck. While I dont agree with "Sulu's" politics it was interesting reading..

...During the sudden Racial PC flurry, about Japanese-Americans being put in camps for America's National Security during World War II, just before the sudden Attacks of Sept. 11th by Muslim Extremists...

...GEORGE TAKAI went on a Los Angeles Area Talk Show to blast America for being a racist country.

...Too bad. A part of the non-racist Original STAR TREK TV Series died for me that night.

...TAKAI in the CLINTON Library =

...A Perfect Match

George Tekai was a big Clinton advocate in 1992. Trekkies/Trekkers I know related to me that he brought up how he'd campaigned for Clinton, in pretty much every appearance for several years.

This strikes me as strange: a book written nearly 10 years ago, and a bunch of junk from Clintoon's basement. Oh well, I guess they have to pretend the Clinton Liebrary serves some legitimate purpose.

I am guessing it serves as a nice tax deduction for the sinkmeister.

When I saw Mr. Takei at a film festival a decade ago in Houston he mentioned his internment and said that he didn't have bad memories of it.

My parents never once complained privately or publically about the discrimination they faced and I know they faced a lot. Hell, I think I faced a lot and what I went through was a lot less than my parents went through. My guess is that he did not tell you what he really felt about internment, because not complaining is the was most asians behave.

I think I will go further and say a lot of americans don't complain about a whole lot of stuff even when there is a lot of reason to complain or be negative. I mostly hear our troops in Iraq complaining about very little, when it can not be that pleasant being there.

When you ask someone how they are doing and the reply is "I'm doing great", it does not mean they are really doing great.

GEORGE TAKAI went on a Los Angeles Area Talk Show to blast America for being a racist country.

To paraphrase Churchill, I think that our country is the most racist country on earth, except for all the other countries.

Still, if you had been sent to a internment camp, for no reason except your descent, it might color your thinking.

I think that working in hollywood has influenced takei to believe the US is very racist, because Hollywood is the most anti asian business in the US.

Put on your thinking cap and tell me all the promenient asian actors that have ever made in on tv or movies.

I can only think of 4. Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Pat Morita (Happy Days) and George Takei.

The fact that takei is possibly the 4 most successful asian actor in US history tells you something about the level of racism in hollywood.

I remember reading that as soon as Clinton was elected he asked the intelligence agencies for two things...one was to see the "Top Secret" file on UFOs. I don't remember the second thing.

Very true. I suspect the fact that american audiences do not want asians or that at least the powers in hollywood think americans don't want asians, is the source of takei's feelings that the US is a racist nation.
