I have read your posts several times trying to fathom why you would state such a thing. I do agree with your theory that noone should be charged, convicted and hung before the facts are out. With this being said, the reasons that you previously stated:Anymore, with parents lacking authority, influence of the media, children, especially 10 year old girls, can be quite a problem. Is that not the responsibility of the parents? You suggested previously that the parents may NOT be at fault. Ok, why? I am the oldest of four children and from that experience I must say that my siblings would have screamed bloody murder if they were locked to a bed. Why didn't the parents notice that she was locked to a bedframe? It's always possible that the girl could have done it herself, but I imagine that she would have had a key near her if that was the case? They don't seem to state in the above article that another body was found of a stranger or of anyone that was outside of the family. So it seems that the family has many truths that haven't been told. Above all it seems that they have let a 10 year old, regardless of any behavior problems, down. They are the leaders of this family. Not an elementary student.

Thanks for the response. You kinda went all over the place with your reply, so I will keep it direct and simple.

If you noticed, there is no direct statement, so far, that the chain and padlock were actually found locked around the child's anatomy anywhere.

The firemen stated they found a chain and padlock that they believed was used to chain her to the bed (one can assume that this must mean the chain was connected to the bed).

If it is determined it was actually connected to her body, then a case can be made for manslaughter.

I suggested the parents may not be at fault (meaning I saw no proof they chained her to the bed), but that doesn't mean they are not responsible for her death.

They are. Even if they had the best reason in the world to chain her to the bed, they are responsible for her death.
