The launch platform will have to be mobile enough to keep up and will need a sensor package capable of detecting (and engaging) the enemy at those distances. I don't know of a turret subsystem that could support that missile on a decent platform....

I used that platform when I was a Lance Missile platoon leader. It's a derivative of the older M113 chassis. You just brought back some very unpleasant memories.

The real trick is a turret capable of traversing with the much larger LOSAT missile.

#148 sure brought back the memories. An old Chaparral - I have some interesting stories from my days in a Chaparral/Vulcan ADA Battalion at Ft Hood.
