I want to see the AQ links mentioned in this story picked up outside Fox or MSNBC....and I hope I do.

The mainstream media has ignored almost all hints at AQ and Iraq up to this point from the getgo. The headline in this story indicates this may be different.

We shall see.

"The mainstream media has ignored almost all hints at AQ and Iraq up to this point from the getgo. "

I think there is a difference between what has been reported for the periods (1) before the invasion and (2) after the victory. There seems to be an acceptance now that there are a goodly number of "foreign" elements (AQ, et al) operating in Iraq who are responsible for a lot of the attacks on US forces. Connections prior to invasion seem to have a lot less coverage & consensus.
