Remember who this would affect. It's the "CHILDREN"

From the article: "between the ages of 18 and 26"

A period of military style service could bring a some reality to their sheltered pathetic little lives that would make them more responsible.

The purpose of government is to uphold our rights, not to indoctrinate us as they see fit. This bill does nothing but violate our rights. It matters to me not one bit whether the person who wants to enslave me is American or foreign. I would react no differently if some Washington politico tried it than I would if Osama himself came to my house to make me his surf.

I've wanted to take a few of them out back to the woodshed and "learn" them a little respect.

Why don't you simply fire them?

Perfect age to establish contact with the tattooed bunch

This bill may, I haven't read it. I'm thinking about the concept. Most people affected by this will have just received 12years of public funded education. This means you, I, and everyone else has had the government violate our rights as producers, by stealing our life energy and giving it to others. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask the recipients of the looted booty to repay somewhat.

"Why don't you simply fire them?"

Never hired them. This is the response they generated from the interview!

Bottom line IMHO, is there should be some kind of draft or alternative for all healthy kids. Look at the rabid antiAmericanism of todays youth based on LIES. The draft served our Country well previously and could again.

Let me guess. You've never served a day in the Armed Forces, right?
