I can't say that I've ever heard of a judgment like this one on a case that was so public.

The judge did say she gets to be a float in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, so she got something.

Seems to me Rosie is the winner since she did not have to pay anything and the publisher put up most of the money for the magazine. She put up around $4.5 million.

I can't help but wonder if Rosie just did all of this to promote her Broadway show. Every time they talked to her outside the courthouse, she was pushing that show. She got a lot of free national advertising for it, didn't she?

(CBS has canceled this tagline. It was "not due to controversy." Tom Daschle is disappointed.)

Supreme Court Justice Ira Gammerman issued his surprising ruling I appeared before him a few times when I practiced in New York. Smart, impatient, and absolutely zero tolerance for bull$hit. He must have been straining to get that ruling out.
A state judge ruled Wednesday that there was no winner in the ugly court battle between Rosie O'Donnell and the publisher of her defunct magazine, saying neither side would collect any damages. Rosie: The Queen of Lice

So the judge thought that there was equal weight between Rosie and a group of magazine publishers?

Big loss for the Bitch.
Her rep was on the line. Judge said, "split the baby." If he really liked her case but felt as he did, then he could have awarded her $1 AND AUTOMATIC LEGAL FEES.
He didn't.
Long-term PR disaster for the dyke.

A state judge ruled Wednesday that there was no winner in the ugly court battle between Rosie O'Donnell and the publisher of her defunct magazine The lawyers for both sides were high fiving each other at the local drinking establishment. "No winners? Are you kidding, judge?", commented an unidentified barrister.

She called the publishers morons this morning: Does this woman have ANY humility or conscience whatsoever? I don't think I've ever read about someone who is more self-absorbed and nastier than she. I can't even look at her mug anymore without seeing evil.
