Here's something else to consider:

'Miami lawyer Jack Thompson, who represents the victims, dismissed the free-speech protection claim. "What a surprise," he said Monday. "Well, good luck to them."

'Thompson said he would seek to move the case back into state court for consideration under Tennessee's consumer protection act.'

Jack Thompson. Remember Jack Thompson?

The same fellow who tried to deprive us all of 2-Live Crew back in the late 80's - early 90's?

The same fellow who filed a lawsuit blaming entertainment companies after the shooting in Paducah, Ky?

Same one who called Collumbine the 'pearl harbor' of the Culture War?

It would pay to keep an eye on this guy. He's definately acting behind the scenes to try and kick over a domino or two. I find his attemps to harness others' grief and sorrow to promote his own personal agenda to be sickening.

'Miami lawyer Jack Thompson

That would be former FReeper Jack Thompson, IIRC. He met a bad end on this forum.
