Well, Freepers it's going to be a looooooooooong day in the senate today, tonight, Thursday, and I'm guessing into Friday.
I figure we'll need a LIVE thread for this.
Looks like Tom Daschle is going to be speaking at 8:45am this morning followed by Frist at 9:11am

I don't know if this has been mentioned as tool to fight the RATS.
http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/comment-barnett042903.asp Basically, the author advocates using recess appointments to stuff the Judiciary with our best and brightest rightwing judges, ones who would never pass the Senate. Use young judges or retiring judges who would stamp our judiciary with a very strong conservative bent. Use this as leverage.
