. . . she tried to escape from an apartment where she was taken and kept by producers.

What, did it have bad wallpaper or something?

Ironic that her slogan was "Run, Bambi, run."

The story behind the story is a very interesting murder case in which I believe Lawrencia (Bambi) was wrongfully accused while her scum sucking ex-husband went scott free. This gal has done her time and has since been released and is fighting to clear her name. Dr. Phil wanted her on his show, to which she agreed, but his staff and reporters kept her holed up in a hotel or apartment or something. She freaked (too much like being in jail) and tried to escape. The fall lead to broken bones, tissue damage, etc., resulting in the amputation of her limb.

Dr. Phil is an a$$hole and I hope she takes him to the cleaners.

She's been grabbing headlines for years. It was easier when she was young and pretty, but now that she's older and fat she doesn't get the attention she used to.

Her fund raising attempts are falling on deaf ears so I think she's looking to Dr. Phil for a free ride to finance her next *clear my name* attempt.

Why isn't Dr. Phil being prosecuted for kidnapping?

The suit filed Monday in Superior Court claims Laurie Bembenek was hurt in 2002 when she tried to escape from an apartment where she was taken and kept by producers.

Ummmmm..........Did she ever try just telling the prodecers, "I want to go home" and simply walking out the front door?
