You posted: "Convicted? What was his sentence?". Here is part of what the Compost printed:

The Post continued:

"He has been accused of triggering the Asian economic crisis that began in 1997. Last year he was convicted of insider trading in France and fined $ 2.2 million, a ruling he dismissed as 'a queer decision' and promised to appeal."

I'm sure that Soros was in bed with ChIraq and $oddomite way before this happened. So ChIraq's off shore accounts got a lot richer, and Soros walked with a small fine for him. Knowing him, he hasn't paid the fine anymore than he paid the rent for his offices in Moscow.

Convicted? What was his sentence?>

At least one conservative is now pitching the notion that wealthy, white collar criminals shouldn't have to go to jail for their crimes. Cal Thomas has a column out today in which he argues: "The corporate monsters who rob stockholders and employees of their jobs and careers shouldn't go to jail." A thread relating to that column can be found here.

Cal's idea just doesn't sit well with me.
