The four-man honor guard from the Lone Star Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America is appearing this week during Veterans Day ceremonies in Washington, D.C.
The veterans performed Monday for a candlelight ceremony at the Vietnam Women's Memorial and are scheduled to participate today in the annual observance at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The honor guard members are Michael M. Bruscino of Keller, who served in Vietnam with the Army as a member of a Special Forces team of combat engineers; David Owens of Decatur, who served with the Marines in Vietnam; Glen Bentley of Rowlett, a Desert Storm veteran who has served in the Army and the Air Force/Air National Guard; and Eric Mullett, a Marine who saw action in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
