If you ever find yourself guilty and in need of a good lawyer, Dick DeGuerin is the man to call.

I believe the jury told the judge yesterday that they were hung. The judge said, no mistrial, come back tomorrow. Then jury said, we're tired and ready to go home, screw the judge. -Not Guilty-

Pathetic group of jurors!

For sure, De Guerin!

Also in the news today...

CHICAGO, Illinois (Reuters) -- A woman poisoned her husband and put his body in the garage while she went about getting her hair done and handing out Halloween candy, police alleged Tuesday.

Barbara Garcia, 51, a retired nurse in Hobart, Indiana, about 30 miles east of Chicago, has been charged with murdering her husband, Cipriano.

Police say she laced his soup with insulin on October 30, then repeatedly injected him with the substance while he slept until he died.

While his body sat in the couple's garage, Garcia had her hair done and passed out Halloween candy the following day, police said. She dumped his body in a forest, but it was discovered a week ago and she was charged with his murder Monday.

Hobart Police spokesman Rick Zormier said it appeared Barbara Garcia had gambling losses and had misappropriated some of her husband's assets and did not want him to find out.
(If only she had cut him up and dumped him into a bay, she might get off too, SHEESH!)

For those outside the area and not familiar with this case, you will not believe this real-life soap opera!

It has everything, Millionair Miser, Murder, Cross-Dressing Deaf-Mute, Chopped-up body, O.J. Jury!

Another juror said the dismemberment that followed Black's death was irrelevant: Only the death itself mattered, whether it was murder or an accident.

So if I kill a guy in self defense, I'm allowed to dispose of the body as I see fit, nor do I have to report the incident to the proper authorities?

Durst testified he lunged for the gun, which went off as the two fell to the floor. Durst said he remembers little after that, just "blood everywhere."

That sounds believable; the gun turned 180 degrees and fired as the two fell to the ground.../s

I wondered what happened to all those people on the OJ jury. Looks like they moved to Texas.
