Oh I will never agree that Vets shouldn't get free health care. In fact, were I to rule the world, they would get a hell of a lot better care than the VA system gives them. A government handout? Without these wonderful men and women we wouldn't have a government or a country, or freedom. I am appalled at your comment.

Where was she when he husband closed hundreds of VA clinics and hospitals during his term ?
I met a WWI vet a the VA hospital 5 years ago who was blind. He was 90 and his dog was 16. he was saying he had to take a train from Montana to Washington because Clinton closed the VA clinics in the state.
The nurse comes out and tells him he can't take the dog in to the doctor because dogs aren't allowed in the treatment rooms. He tells the nurse the dog had a hard trip on the 8 hour train ride and he may cause trouble if he has to stay alone in the waiting room. The nurse gives in and the old guy tells the dog lets go and the dog can't get up for 5 minutes.
Thank you Mr. Clintoon !

I'd agree, for anyone who was in a battle zone, or otherwise suffered injuries in connection with their service.

This is a bit rich in irony. These traitors who helped our enemies in the Cold War now advocate for our veterans! How stupid do you think we are?

That could very well be true, but their BS will not be utterly refuted.

It's too late.
It will be utterly refuted.

A handout is a handout, it just has to stop. I support our President's efforts to end socialism. He knows a handout when he sees it, why can't you see it too?
I said that the government should treat injuries a soldier gets while in the military, but that should be the end of it. A former soldier should be treated as any other American.
