There's something to be said for being in the right place at the right time...with the desire to serve. I consider it an honor to bring JB's needs to this community...family...of caring people.

Update...

I visited with JB's family and close friends this afternoon at 4:30 MST. He came through the surgery just fine, Praise the Lord, but was still pretty much 'out of it' from the meds. His mom and daughter said he looks good, and his doctor still feels he will be able to come home on Saturday or Sunday.

I gave his daughter an envelope with this thread up to post #105. She should be able to share that with him tomorrow. I will continue to take your prayers and well wishes to him.

It seems fast, but that's what the doctor told them. I guess JB is relatively healthy...especially now, with new pipes for his heart!
