CBS may have dumped its slanderous miniseries "The Reagans" onto Showtime, where it will be seen uncut, but the real Reagan story is now in the works. According to the New York Post, the Republican National Committee is planning a new documentary series, expected to be titled the "Real Reagans," which will feature news clips and other historic film clips showing President Reagan and his wife, Nancy, instead of made-up quotes and liberal actors such as Barbra Streisand's husband and a leftist Australian actress playing the former president and Mrs. Reagan.
The Post reports that a release date for the film is yet to be announced and Republican National Committee spokeswoman Christine Iverson would not discuss details about the production. The Post, however, reports that fund-raising for the project is about to start.
Iverson told the Post, the GOP, which had planned an ad campaign protesting the CBS show and setting the record straight, may now instead promote the "Real Reagans" video in newspaper and magazine ads.

How about a Real Clinton Story? They can show Monika blowing Bill from under the desk and giving him foreign policy advice. They can also show Bill's Iran/Bosnia deal that armed the Muslims in Bosnia with $800 million in illegal arms from Iran breaking the UN embargo. Let the truth be told.

Exactly . I said as much a couple of weeks ago . As much as I love the man , Reagan , like any other human , had his faults and foibles . The RNC will paint a one sided picture which will bring howls of derision from the media and others . Let's see as true a depiction as possible . You won't get that with the RNC .

Man, I am kind of spooked about this news. If the Republican Party is making the documentary, it's bound to be a retreat of some kind for our side.
