Crane Falls Across I-4 In Volusia; Shuts Lanes
Traffic To Be Slow Monday Rush Hour

A construction crane has reportedly fallen across both lanes of Interstate 4 in Volusia County, Fla., according to Local 6 News.

The machine has apparently fallen across several lanes between mile marker 109 and 110 in Deltona, near Debary.

It is not known if there are any injuries in connection with the incident.

Traffic is expected to be slow or stopped in both lanes during rush hour Monday as work crews remove the debris from the road.

I can plainly see where they removed the support bolts. Call Ashcroft!

You think it'd be easy to move, or flatten. :-)

I always wondered why some refer to it as "rush" hour; when traffic is stopped for an hour. Doesn't seem like people are "rushing."

Also I wonder why we park on a driveway; and drive on a parkway; and pay tolls on a freeway.

Probably terrorists.

Naah. John Kerry told me that it was George Bush's fault. And, Hillary said it's the cause of the vast-right-wing-conspiracy.

The news report said east bound which is away from Orlando and towards Daytona Beach. That will defenately effect the home bound traffic going North East away from Orlando.

Debary is after Deltona so fortunately, people can use the exits before and at Deltona and work their way around.

If the crane fell near the bridge crossing the St Johns river, it would be a very serious delay because there isn't an easy workaround that that area.
