"Who better to deliver the message of variety than Hugh Hefner?" asks CKE president and CEO Andy Puzder Pervert...

Pervert? Heterosexual men's attraction to good-looking young women is a perversion?

I hope you are disturbed about this as much as I am," Wildmon tells members of the online activist groups. "Hugh Hefner made his fortune by exploiting women as mere sex objects and tempting men to cheat on their wives. And we'll never know how many millions of little boys have been negatively influenced by Hefner's porn magazines." Talk about hyperbole, sheesh...
Not sure how Playboy tempts men to cheat on their wives. Also, I doubt that little boys looking at naked centerfolds leads to long-term psychological damage.

I've seen the commercial and it doesn't bother me a bit. Much ado about nothing.

It kinda sounds as if the young men they are targeting have more than a passing interest in cows........on the hoof,as it were.
Back in dairy country, we used to refer to them as "cow punchers".

It's stunts like these by the super-extreme bible thumpers that make conservatives in general look bad.

Last week, CKE Restaurants -- parent company of Hardee's and Carl's Jr. establishments -- defended a sexually provocative TV commercial for Carl's Jr. by saying it was designed to target young men. The ad shows a model simulating sexual moves while riding a mechanical bull. Man is that a great commercial or what? I think I have eaten two 6 Dollar Western Bacon Cheeseburgers since seeing that one.
All I can say is they know their target audience.. Mmmmmmmm..

Maybe they're just trying to tell us that their food is equally tasteless.

Also, I doubt that little boys looking at naked centerfolds leads to long-term psychological damage. At least they won't turn out gay.
We caught our 11 year old boy attempting to look up "Girls in thongs" on the net. He was grounded for life!! LOL, but we were happy his choice was on the right track. Whew!
Look at it this way - at least it's pro-heterosexual to balance the air waves.

If I were to make a list of sordid and repulsive individuals who preach harmful values then Hefner would be among them.

Maybe they're just trying to tell us that their food is equally tasteless. Maybe the real message is "If you eat too many of our hamburgers and fries, you will never make it with a chick that looks like this".
To: tbpiper
I was thinking along those lines myself.

" I doubt that little boys looking at naked centerfolds leads to long-term psychological damage." Not for most, but it does for some. Some of us prefer to experience our titllation where it belongs, in our bedroms, with our wives.

You puonished him for looking up girls in thongs? I hope you don't let him watch MTV any time of the day or most of primetime TV.

The ads are in poor taste, but Hugh Hefner is a great American.
