Precisely why I proudly display my 'State Police Fund Supporter' sticker on my car. If you know anyone on the job, ask them to get you an F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police) sticker. My father-in-law got me one and it has helped in a couple of instances.

That's the "Cop Flag", aka the "Thin Blue Line". It means that the owner/driver of the car that bears it is a cop, a member of a cop's family, or is somehow related to cops.
Don't know what the lines/heart thing is about.
