"If we refuse to confront traitors in our midst, how will we ever defeat terrorism?"

Therein lies the problem.

We know who is openly treasonous (the RATs), but isn't the pattern of consistently feigned ignorance, malfeasance and benign neglect that characterizes the Republicans just as dangerous and bordering on aiding and abetting treason? I have preferred to think of the White House, DOJ and the leadership in the House and Senate as merely trying to walk a 'high road,' but this open assault on the Republic that has gone on for over a decade and has simply become too much to maintain any pretense of civility.

A pig wallowing in it's own excrement is fine when it is safely confined in it's pen. If that pig, however, is doing such things in the home of the farmer (let alone the inner sanctums of our Republic), then I see little reason to make a distinction between the farmer and his swine (or the leadership of the national parties).

Let me amend that last statement.

From:

"I see little reason to make a distinction between the farmer and his swine (or the leadership of the national parties)."

To:

Increasingly, I see fewer reasons to make a distinctions between the farmer and his swine (or the leadership of the national parties).
