Just like an E-tool
A knife dont jam nevers runs out of ammo
That said, still like the 40 mm/M203 for knife fights

Gunnery Sgt. Orlando Diaz, chief martial arts instructor for 1st Marine Division Schools. How'd you like to date and break-up with this guy's daughter?

Caught a guy in front of my office the other day breaking into a vehicle. My cell phone trumped his knife. He got so scared he threw it down and ran. Heh.

Nope. He faded into the 'hood.

...and my 'baby' IS a MARINE I live and work right across the street from the Marine Barracks. Believe me, many of these fine young Marines I see every day look like kids to me.
LOL...another sign that I'm getting old. ;-)

Interesting article. Thanks for posting it, SJ.
2/1 was the battalion I went to Nam with in 65. As a matter of fact, I was supposed to be down in Oceanside this weekend for 2/1's reunion, but had to cancel.
I'm really sorry to have missed it, because they had arranged for us all to go out to Pendleton and meet with some current members that are Iraq Vet's and for our entire families to fire some of today's weapons.
Any weapon they would have made available would have been new to me, considering we carried the old M-14.

Pretty good at what they do. But the Russian
spetsnazniki train in hand-to-hand to an Olympic- level standard, and most relish the opportunity to get a chance to use their well-honed skill.

Ah, she gives you any problems, a couple of slaps to the face oughta set her straight...
Life is so much easier having one who shares your interests, though, and is a good hunting buddy with her muzzleloader.

To: struwwelpeter
Just so- an old tradition! But always nicer when it's *smiling* chicks with hardware.

Thanks for the memories, Archy. An old friend indeed!
Good to see it's still on duty and serving our country well.

Looks like the Rusky is about to throw away a perfectly good weapon. With that kind of philosophy behind their training they wouldn't be hard to beat.
