The knock on former Gov. Kirk Fordice was that he never really understood that governing required working with people with whom you don't agree for common goals.
That didn't stop Fordice from leaving the state in excellent financial condition.
The knock on outgoing Gov. Ronnie Musgrove is that he had extreme difficulty accepting responsibility for his administration's failures or sharing credit for his administration's successes.
