At least 100 people, mostly children, were wounded when a bomb rocked the al-Muhaya residential compound west of Riyadh toward midnight (2100 GMT), the compound's manager told AFP.

"There are no less than 100 wounded, most of them children," Hanadi al-Khandakli said, adding she could not immediately tell whether there were any fatalities.

Khandaqli, who was in the compound at the time of the attack, said "there was gunfire followed by a blast, and a second blast minutes later."

She said the complex comprised 200 villas, four of which are inhabited by Western families, including two German and one French.

Please, let's not go overboard on here with the "racist" accusations. I did not see anything racial in his post. He was speaking about children being schooled to kill. It happens they are Arabs. Likely he would have said the same if it were German, Martian or whatever other race of children being similarly trained.

But they WORKED. In total war sometimes the optimum solution is not the moral solution.

I understand that this is a mostly Arab residential distric in the vicinity of a bunch of embassies. I suspect that the bombers were stopped short of their intended target and the bomb was detonated in this neighborhood rather than in front of an embassy.

Also I heard that everything about the bomb resembles the bomb that went off a while back. That tells me that the bomb makers weren't captured last time.
