Yes, but... There is the potential for some major military victory in Iraq. There is the capture of Saddam, the capture of OBL, and the discovery of WMD. A strike into Syria or Iran could also change the whole dynamic.
There are also external events that could make it foolish to abandon an experienced war leader for an ultra-left wing, America-hating dem. It is my belief that the next major terrorist strike against the west, especially us, will come at the 2004 Olympic games in Athens, Greece. The games are in July.
The dems may PLEAD with their friends not to do anything but simply may not have enough influence. In fact, the dems may start spinning this by claiming that our failure to stop the Olympic attack is proof the war against terrorism isn't working. They would then have to convince us non-traitors that holding hands and singing kumbaya was an effective strategy to prevent future attacks.

What these stupid dems forget is that in 1972 Nixon won in a landslide with an average of 200 people dying a week in Vietnam.

Translation: The Dems will be gleeful when the terrorists kill more American soldiers and will blame Bush for all attacks. They are, afterall, treasonist big mouthed armchair wristwringers.
