I check your website every so often, and I say a prayer for Terri, as well as your family, as often as it crosses my mind.
I've just read the recent article concerning the Catholic Media Coalition's efforts to plead to the Catholic Bishops of Florida, for their intervention on Terri's behalf. I have also read the Catholic Media Coalition's July 23rd Press Release, as well as Bishop Robert Lynch's October, 2002, Statement. As a fellow Catholic, I am infuriated. This is a prime example of the misrepresentation of Catholic Doctrine by liberal clergymen, and the type of inaction which has given rise to the now infamous sex scandals.
If Bishop Robert Lynch wanted to do the PASTORAL (famous liberal term) thing, he would get up off of his big fat ex cathedra, and see for himself that Terri is not in a perpetual vegetative state, and join in your fight. What is it these liberals say? No Justice, No Peace, and all that other hypocritical stuff. Honestly, if Bob Hope could go half a world away to entertain the troops, and visit them in hospitals, why can't the Good Bishop pay a little visit to Terri? [The Late] Cardinal O'Connor of NY (my Archdiocese) did vastly much more for Police Officer [Steven] McDonald and his family.
As far as some immediate action goes, what I would recommend is organizing a collection boycott. No money to the NCCB, or to the Cathedral. That would get you some attention, very quickly. I'm sorry that I have to be so crass, but money talks. These "Princes of the Church" need money in order to have the luxury of being liberal. (Would that all Bishops be holy men as Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz, of Lincoln, Nebraska! But they aren't.) I'm sure you have enough supporters to make a significant dent.
By the way, here is a link to a very interesting article which illustrates Bishop Bruskewitz's character, love of the Church, and his orthodoxy:

I agree with Bishop Bruskewitz. It's time to take back our Church. Especially now, when the life of a person like Terri is no longer defended, due to liberalism.
God bless Terri, and all of you. My passionate prayer is that the Divine Mercy Himself will defend your daughter, especially because His "shepherds of souls" will not.
Sincerely, Lauren BaRecall
