FRN has been contacted by the Senate Republican Conference and the Coalition for a Fair Judiciary for our help in breaking the Democrat obstruction to get conservative judicial nominees appointed.
We have been complaining about the lack of Republican backbone. Now lets show support when they grow one. We are asking for members of the forum to help keep this thread bumped and urge your friends, family, EVERYONE, to take action to support the filibuster effort.

Sigh... my Senators are Schumer and Clinton... they are the prime movers of politicization. Anyone else worth writing to for someone from New York?

I can only e-mail and call from afar to two Republican senators but I'll do my part.

Absolutely fantastic that RFR will be there doing interviews. There's a lot of down time when the Senators are just hanging around in the middle of the night with nothing to do. And they have to remain conscious (except for brief naps on cots brought it). So interviews make a logical use of time.
I am rather curious how RFR got the right to be outside the Senate Chamber to do this. Temporary press credentials? Personal invitation from friendly Senators? Please do report on that aspect.

Will "regular" citizens be allowed into the gallery for the session?

Since my seators are also Hitlery and Chuck the Schmuck, I have the same frustration. If Frist actually shows the gonads to do this, we'll only be watching from the sidelines. The good news is that our 2 illustrious senators won't be able to do a thing to stop it the rule change.

Pressure on the opposition is also necessary! Let's not let them get to comfortable...they will have a counter attack plan.

This appears worth a bump.

I got a good one and a bad one. Norm Coleman is a moderate Republican who will vote for the judges. Dayton, on the other hand, suffers whiplash everytime Kennedy, Hillary!, or Chucky stops quickly.

Ventura County Freepers - stand ready to assist. Chapter leaders should have a game plan by the end of the weekend. In the meantime, bump this post please.
