John D. Rockefeller died of a heart attack in his office after some extra curricular acitivities with his secretary. He had neither shoes or pants on.....but the pants were put back on by the secretary before calling for medical help. I don't believe she bothered with the shoes...

That was Nelson Rockefeller; former Gov. of NY and
former Vice President under Nixon after Spiro Agnew resigned from that office.

Nelson Rockefeller, not John D. He died in a townhouse with an acquaintance named Megan Marshak. Apparently she did not call 911 for quite a while but before she did she put his shoes on the wrong feet. She did inherit the townhouse or perhaps it was the no interest loan to pay it off.
