One can force a reading any way they want, but imposition of a discipline versus voluntary acceptance of same are two VERY different things to people not residing in Dallas and attacking the Church.

Why are so filled with hatred toward me, ninenot? All I've done is point out the truth. It's not me who is forcing a reading into scriptures, it's your side who is pretending that the scriptures don't mean what they say. The apostle Paul specifically permits clergy to marry and it is obvious from both scriptures and the writings of the Early Fathers that they did.
If you really care about the Catholic church, you ought to be concerned when they don't follow what scriptures and the Early Fathers say.
