What you are reding with the BBC is what she said to Dianne Sawyer. Whether she thanked the soldiers and the Iraqi man ....I don't know. But it makes no differance if she did because she already slammed the military.

I would much rather see her get on with her life rather then exploiting this for everything it is worth. The stories I want to hear are of the soldiers who saved her. We will never hear of them or from them, and that is a mark of integrity.
