Another fine point .. it seems Judge Greer gave the okay for George Felos to act as Terri's attorney, to be paid for by her money .. in essence, she's paying him to kill her. Now that MS has to defend himself as acting in Terri's best interest, and George Felos is still on the scene, is he now Michael's attorney? Can he represent both?
The fact that nutrition/hydration was not a consideration at the time of Terri's injury is CRUCIAL, sweetliberty. It seems that the Merchants of Death had to spend some time in getting the current laws in place before condemning Terri to death.
I keep forgetting to include this as one of the reasons for Terri's Law being constitutionally sound. The fact that the law was applied retroactively to Terri to include nutrition/hydration as artificial life support when it was not considered life support at the time of her 'collapse' seems grossly unfair.

Very good point! Felos should not be allowed to represent Michael as a defendant for abuse, neglect and conflict of interest while he is also representing "Terri's interests" is another way to put it.
I think the answer might be that Michael is not a defendant in the criminal sense. Currently Greer has asked him to answer to the allegations made by the Schindlers but they are not criminal charges. If Greer finds that Michael is unfit to be guardian, he will remove Michael and then the Schindlers could ask the District Attorney to file criminal charges if there is a finding of abuse or neglect.
