You nailed it. (My comment about "peace-loving" was intended to be sarcastic.) A significant portion of the "peace protestors" are not at all peaceful.
When a relative was a police officer in another city, he dealt with the peace protestors. His comment was, "For being peace protestors, they sure are violent."
