As a native Georgian,still living in the Atlanta suburbs,I'm glad ole Zig-Zag Zell is finding his way.Gotta love his euphamisms!
Despite what Zig-Zag says, Max Cleland richly deserved his fate. He supported Bill Clinton from beginning to end, voted for the most outlandishly leftist legislation, and gave not a single thought to the views of his Georgia constituency.
With that being said, Saxby Chambliss is not much better.
IMHO, the Republican Party in Georgia died along with Paul Coverdell. What a fine man he was. We will miss him always.
