Jessica: Army used me

 

That's interesting.  I'd always thought the Washington Post made that story up to advance the cause of putting women in harm's way on the battlefield.  Guess I imagined that.

Hmmm... see, I probably would have made that the headline, but they went the anti-Army route.  In fact, they didn't mention the rape until paragraph 11.  But that's just me.

Feminazis want females in the military to destroy it. they are socialist who hate all military operations, as it gets in the way of the Worker's Paradise.

Real women like Lori Piestewa, Jessica Lynch, and others ruined that dream for them when they served with dignity and honor all the while espousing American values.

Now Lynch must go. I predict a gradual move by COW to demonize women in the military.

Owl, I thought the same thing about the Post making up the story. They based it on one unnamed Pentagon source. My thinking is the source made it up, could barely keep the smirk off his face as he told it to the Postie, and wanted to see how far they'd run with it. But, because we're dealing with a dishonest, anti-military, lamestream press, ABC will spin it as the military blowing things out of proportion, the New York rag backs them up, and the rest of the traitorous ink-peddlers will close ranks around them. It CAN'T be that the Post practised dishonest or shoddy journalism, noooo sirreeeee! Its those bad military guys in the Pentagon...

Bragg that wrote Jessica's book likes to "color" the story so I have heard. I think the rape was made up for it looks good on paper and sells books.
I lived in West Virginia for twenty two years - grew up there just a couple of miles from the Lynch family.
To bad the other soldiers didn't get a big book deal or much attention from the media. Not even the same amount of pension for the others.
