Good synopsis. Let's remember that the media, reacting to public thirst, blew this story up to giant status. It became a megastory.

As a citizen, I'm often disgusted with megastories, they suck up all the oxygen and the hundred other good stories go ignored.

The networks pounded this story hard, thinking it was the only PC way to support the war. Save Girl sounds better the the left than Win War.

Win War works for me, but the only decent reporting on the war was on FoxNews or here at FR.

One more reason the networks are irrelevant.
